    Dental implants
    are among the most advanced treatments available in restorative dentistry .Implants are the most sophisticated answer to an age-old problem – tooth loss caused by injury, tooth decay, and gum disease. Instead of using natural teeth to support a replacement tooth, a dental implant fixes replacement teeth into the gums by recreating the tooth root. This artificial root is a tiny titanium post that is inserted into the missing tooth’s bone socket. The jawbone grows around the post, securing it firmly in place as though it were a natural root. Once the implant has taken root, usually three to six months after implantation surgery, Dr.Villarroel attaches a natural-looking replacement tooth to the post.
